Description
Port Charlotte OLC:01 2010 is a heavily peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich’s Cask Exploration Series, initially matured in a mix of bourbon, wine, and VDN casks before being finished in Oloroso sherry hogsheads. Bottled at 55.1% ABV, it delivers a rich, complex profile of earthy peat smoke layered with dried fruits, red berries, dark chocolate, maritime brine, and spicy oak, finishing long, smoky, and slightly dry with lingering coastal character.
