Port Charlotte Islay Barley 2013 is an 8-year-old heavily peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, made entirely from barley grown on Islay by local farms. Matured mainly in American oak with a portion in French wine casks, it offers a balanced style of earthy peat smoke with layers of citrus, honey, malt sweetness, sea salt, and subtle red fruit influence, finishing long, smoky, and gently complex.
