Octomore Islay Barley 13.1 is a heavily peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, made with 100% Scottish barley and aged for 5 years in first-fill American oak ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at 59.2% ABV and peated to around 137 PPM, it delivers a bold yet balanced profile of intense smoke layered with sweet vanilla, citrus, honeyed malt, coconut, and subtle toasted oak, finishing long, smoky, and surprisingly refined for its strength.
